I think I have strategies that can help you live in a truer and more stable state of being.   I can be described as part Motivational Coach; Therapist, Pastor, Teacher, Mentor, Life Coach

Long Version:

In 2008 I started my own private counseling working with teens and adults. Primarily helping people navigate through relationship dilemmas, behavioral issues, or just needing a new perspective / insight to lingering problems. Many who work with me give me the feedback, “thank you, I never saw things this way before, I think I can get through this.”

Along with my private practice, starting since 2012 I have also been working in a psych hospital as a therapist providing services to chronically depressed and hurting people.  This experience is allowing me to grow in psychiatric practices and therapeutic stabilization.

My base approach in working with people is helping identify how they are looking at themselves or their circumstance and to reframe it in a way that they can find value, meaning, insight and resolve.  The ultimate goal in working with people is to gain a clearer self-awareness and understanding of the “true self”.  To help find value in the falling down of life; to assist in finding redemption and hope in a time of darkness or uncertainty.  A large part of my clinical approach can be identified as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).  In addition, due to my prolific spiritual/religious background as a worship pastor and in Christian drama ministry, I incorporate spiritual truths and the pursuit of spiritual clarity.  Spiritual growth and insight is what sustains and defines all areas of our life.
